Being lonely is not a pleasant way to feel, especially due to a specific reason like Covid. Although Covid has caused us all some heartache, some loving people have created ways to fill that loneliness in our hearts. When loneliness comes into our lives, we need some point of contact. A contact to remind us that there are other people, just like us, who need you and me as well as you and I need them.
I can remember when school teachers would bring signs to student’s yards that read, “I Love You” and “We miss you.” Loved ones of elderly people would stand outside of nursing home windows and touch hands through glass windows to say, “You are not alone.”
There are so many ways of contact such as, the cell phone, Zoom, Messenger, and Face Time. There is one very special thing we must always remember. We are never alone if we recognize Jesus, who is our everlasting Savior. He is always with us in every thought and every feeling we have, and is felt by Him.
We will get through this, just you wait and see. Reach out to someone today!
